Information for hirers

Since the easing of lockdown on 4th July and with it the permission of village halls to reopen, certain additional responsibilities now fall on hirers to help achieve the safest environment possible for users. While uncertainties are bound to exist, all potential hirers are invited to discuss any special requirements or concerns with the booking secretary or designated members of the hall management team. We will happily share our experiences regarding risk assessments or issues over insurance cover.
Further easing is scheduled for 22nd July and we will endeavour to keep the information on this website as current as possible. Please do draw any omissions or inaccuracies to our attention.

It is strongly recommended that all hirers/users are familiar with the guidance produced by acre   ACTION WITH COMMUNITIES IN RURAL ENGLAND   which includes guidance on preparing village halls and community venues for re-opening and also contains an outline of the additional reponsibilities for hirers.
